Catholics Must Vote NO on MO Medicaid Expansion Amendment 2

WHY?

I. It (Medicaid Expansion) would cooperate with evil and expand elective abortions

II. It would bring us ever deeper into the government control of medicine. That was the situation in Nazi Germany, where we should have learned our lesson with doctors doing the evil of the state.

III. It would not change major health outcomes in a significant way according to the gold standard study on the issue (2008 Oregon Health Insurance Experiment)

IV. It would therefore give MO taxpayer a huge financial burden benefiting the healthcare industry but not MO citizens.

V. With all of these things considered, it is not only immoral from the abortion aspect but also from the simple, unjust burden and imprudence aspects to support Medicaid Expansion

VI. Why is the long arm of USCCB (the Catholic Bishops) through the MCC (the Missouri Catholic Conference – the MO Bishops) FOR this expansion? We are not sure, but we must not forget approximately ONE THIRD of the USCCB budget is money from the federal government; could this be a conflict of interest? Is it possible this money given to them and fear of its loss sway their opinion?

VII. N.B. In this same vein of “influence” there is credible information that China has been giving 2 BILLION dollars/year to the Vatican to influence their policy.
