Solemn Mass of St. Gerard Majella

Join Una Voce St. Louis for a Solemn Traditional Latin Mass on the feast of St. Gerard Majella on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 6:30 PM. We will be at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church in Kirkwood, which makes this a first class feast!. After the Mass we’ll meet for dinner, drinks, and games at Dogwood Social House, about 8.5 miles west of the church.
St. Gerard Majella, C.Ss.R. (April 9, 1726 – October 16, 1755), was an Italian lay brother of the Congregation of the Redeemer, better known as the Redemptorists. His intercession is sought for children, unborn children, women in childbirth, mothers, expectant mothers, motherhood, the falsely accused, good confessions, and lay brothers. His last will was a small note on the door of his cell: “Here the will of God is done, as God wills, and as long as God wills.” He died at 29 of tuberculosis.
If you are willing and able to serve at the altar or please contact Ryan Murphy at unavocestlouis@gmail.com or 314-704-8819. We need your help! Rehearsal for servers will be at 5:30 PM. Hope to see you at St. Gerard Majella on Friday, October 16!
