Robert Hurley has retired from medical practice, affording time for a variety of volunteer work, as well as writing, primarily on social and medical ethics topics. He has a B.S. from Georgetown and an M.D. from University of Virginia. After internship at University of Wisconsin, he was given a medical officer assignment in the U.S. Public Health Service with an Antarctic tour of duty as icebreaker ship’s doctor. He completed residency training in radiology and nuclear medicine at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology in St. Louis.
He has been blessed with a dear wife and responsibility of raising six children with her.
